I am back from vacation with this amazing set from Crosstown Rebel’s DJ Glimpse performed on the boat party at The Garden Festival in Petrcane, Croatia from just last week. This is the only set recorded from the festival I have come across so far and unfortunately there is no tracklist or a 320 kbps version of it. Derek Bobus de la Honey Soundsystem ne trimite direct pe terasa unui bloc din NY intr-o noapte fierbinte de vara cu acest Honeypotcast ajuns la numarul 72. As spune The Bliss rather then The Abyss. De vis!

Astazi va prezint un mix venit pe filiera The Vault, o superba aglomerare deloc spontana a celor mai bune ingrediente ce au rezultat un amestec perfect de sunete si emotii numit sugestiv Alchemy. O potiune magica marca Madboro cu care poti topi orice pereche de picioare bronzate si fin epilate ce iti vor iesi in cale in fierbintea vara ce s-a asternut peste intreaga Europa.
Luni Headman, miercuri Munk. Pare ca ne invartim in cercul Gomma, dar asta e valabil doar pe jumatate, si nume in cazul lui Munk, marele boss de la label-ul tocmai mentionat. Noul sau EP intitulat ‘La Musica’ a iesit saptamana trecuta si este ticsit de remix-uri unul mai bun ca altul dintre care se remarca cele ale lui Mercury si Tiago, dar si variantele Audiojack si Shir Khan sunt de mare impact si ca sa spun drept nici cu varianta originala nu mi-e rusine. Azari & III in schimb au o portie de arpegii absolut dementiale, dar din pacate prea putine si prea rare, remix-ul lor nefiind tocmai popular :)

Un mix foarte nou si foarte bun al elvetienilor Mercury, un duo aparut de curand si care ne-a impresionat pe toti cu remix-urile lor geniale pentru Le Le, Steed Lord, Filewile sau Metal on Metal. Asteptam cu nerabdare productiile proprii ce cu siguranta urmeaza sa apara in curand :)
De la It ‘Rough’ la ‘Gimme’ nu a fost o cale nici scurta si nici usoara, dar dupa ce a inregistrat un succes nebun cu piese ca cele mentionate sau ‘Running Into Time’ si ‘Catch Me (If You Can)’, Headman revine in mare forta in vara lui 2010 cu un nou album ‘1923′ si un EP pe masura care sa il preceada. Este vorba de ‘Private Show’, una din cele 10 melodii noi de pe album si care are alaturi doua remix-uri Tape to Tape, unul Telonius, o Alternative Version si dub-ul variantei originale, prezenta si aceasta pe EP. Si ca pachetul sa fie complet, zilele trecute au inceput promovarea release-ului cu un videoclip mai mult decat simplu. Stupid as zice. Mai multe vedeti ascultand mai jos ;)

Am pastrat pentru aceasta vineri un mix de doua ore inregistrat saptamana trecuta la Spring Festival in Austria, paradisul muzicii electronice de primavara, in care Dirt Crew pur si simplu au rupt podeaua cu public cu tot. Tracklist inca nu exista, dar daca apare il gasiti aici cu siguranta.
Chiar daca The Vault mi-a luat-o inainte cam cu o saptamana, eu spun ca nu e deloc prea tarziu sa ascultam ultimul episod din Gomma Podcast in care Munk umple 60 de minute cu prospetimi si unrealeased-uri care cu siguranta nu trebuiesc ratate.

In ultimile luni, Made to Play si-a stabilit foarte clar locul in zona mai saltareata a muzicii de dans, managerul Jesse Rose si Riva Starr scotand cel putin o data pe luna acolo. Cu Renaissance Man treaba sta putin altfel. Au trecut prin cateva release-uri la Dubsided, Sixpack, Institubes si Sound Pellegrino pentru ca in final sa soseasca la MTP la inceputul acestei veri cu un realease demn de noptile fierbinti ce vor urma. ‘Babbadabba EP’ contine trei melodii, una care da titlul release-ului si alte doua intitulate ‘Wahhagoogoo’ si ‘Scat Track’ (?), toate cazand in categoria ingenioase, dar nebune rau. Bonus included!
