Guess what I found in my inbox this morning? Yep, it’s the first Acid Washed mixtape in months maybe years. Hell if i’m not mistaken it’s the first mixtape from the french duo that delighted my ears for a full hour featuring the most amazing tracks and remixes from top charts labels such as Gomma, Kitsune, Bear Funk and Plant Music just to name a few. Included below is a bonus of the amazing remix Danger did for their self titled track, a grungy symphonic dementia that will knock you off your feet :)

As much as I wanted to just post the cover and tracks, my need to acclaim these fine producers and remixers just wouldn’t let me do it. So here it is, the already released 2 weeks ago remix ep from the dance legends Groove Armada comes full with 3 amazing remixes ranging from Grum’s 80’s discoteca feeling filler to Tom Budden’s deep and soulfull house interpretation and culminating with an amazing example of third millennia psychedelic arped nu-disco that Still Going still deliver!

Being so immersed these past weeks in my mixtape project I totally neglected a couple of amazing sets recorded last month at the Sonar Festival in Barcelona. As some of you might know already, secretsundaze is THE sunday underground party branch of The Secret Agency and their night at at Sonar included a live set from Jay Shepheard and a few dj sets from The Mole, Trus’me and Ethyl & Flori to name a few. Jay and Mole’s sets are highly recommended, but please give the others at least a full listen, you won’t regret it!
Jay Shepheard – Live at Secretsundaze, Sonar, Barcelona (20-07-2010)
The Mole – Live at Secretsundaze, Sonar, Barcelona (20-07-2010)
Initially it was meant to be a certain season’s feeling wrapped into 80 minutes of pure emotion (hence the title), but because it’s been constructed ever since the last snow flake melted away, ‘a midsummer day’s dream’ mixtape turned out to be the devastating explosion of all the memories and states it’s been comprised of all this time. If that doesn’t make any sense, please press play and you will figure it out.

Finally it’s here! Released only 5 days ago, the new Tape to Tape EP is still not getting the attention worth out of his summery anthemic freshness that ‘Pure and Easy’ successfully delivers. Fusing together a moody bassline with a mesmerizing synth and throwing in between what sounds to be the whispering echoes of summer gently filtered through a sea shell, Paul and Dan create the perfect august track this summer of love deserves. And the fun doesn’t stop here, next on the Relish Recordings 12″ there’s a kicking remix of the more known Black Strobe that just screams Berlin Sunday 10 AM nostalgia, followed by a chicago-ish old-school acid feast from fellow Relish artist JR Seaton.
Happy Birthday Catrinel!

Hauke Freer and Matthias Reiling are making music together since 2008 and their discography contains quite a lot of memorable deep house and techno tunes released on well known labels like Real Soon, Delusions of Grandeur and Retreat. Session Victim also aired an amazing mixtape last week on the You Are We podcast show filled with both freshly squeezed tunes and a few ripe classics. Thanks to Ovidiu for the tip on this mixtape ;)
Yes lads and birds, Russia’s own balearic superstars Acos Coolkas are soothing our sun scorched ears with a mighty fine selection of this summer’s best cooling house beats and mesmerizing disco kicks to put you back in the mood for love. Don’t be, grab the mp3, burn it and take a smooth drive outside your down at sunset. You will be amazed!
My favorite editer of the moment, UK’s finest disco classics reinvigorator, Leftside Wobble just released his “Second instalment for Futureboogie, featuring a selection of grooves currently rocking my boogie infused world”. Not only that, but a couple of days back he also posted his third self produced track so far called ‘Ray’s Groove’ (‘On and On’ and ‘Safari Kiss’ being the former two) and it definitely deserves a heavy listening.

It’s been only a few days since the last Mustang post, but I really can’t get enough of these guys. They just posted both their Vocal and Dub Version for the new The KDMS single ‘High Wire’, to be realesed in august on Gomma Records, an amazing post-electro-nu-disco psychedelia infused with a mesmerizing vocal and a hypnotic arturia synth perfectly programmed to shiver your entire spine one vertebrae at a time. Not to mention the groovy bassline that just makes you want to dance. Blissful to ecstasy and beyond!
The latest Sebastien Tellier single ‘Look’ is the perfect treat for a hot sunday afternoon when there’s nothing better to do then chill with a simple but mesmerizing video from french directors Mrzyk & Moriceau. And if the original doesn’t feel like getting you in the mood for love, the Dirty Little Secret naughty bootleg will defo spark a tingly feeling down inside :)
Sebastien Tellier – Look (Dirty Little Secret Remix)
After his glorious comeback with his vocoder infused trip called ‘Love Pattern’ and his other all beach cocktail madness ‘Pelu Tolo’, both having received outstanding remixes from Isolee and Bot’ox, the legendary Mickey Moonlight (now signed to Ed Banger for some reason) strikes us again with an amazing and unexpected mixtape. 50 minutes of pure genius (without any tracklist unfortunately) and the 2 remixes I mentioned above in this friday gift from me to you. Because friday means party!
Today we are stepping into the last half of this beautiful summer and it already smells like love is in the air everywhere. As a bonus, a mind blowing orchestra of emotions packed in a Mustang remix of Morcheeba’s brand new single ‘Even Though’. Take it while it’s hot!

I am back from vacation with this amazing set from Crosstown Rebel’s DJ Glimpse performed on the boat party at The Garden Festival in Petrcane, Croatia from just last week. This is the only set recorded from the festival I have come across so far and unfortunately there is no tracklist or a 320 kbps version of it. Enjoy the short video of it, it was the festival’s best moment for us :)
Absolut demential, fantastic si fascinant. Cea mai buna selectie muzicala pe care am auzit-o intr-un mix in ultima perioada. Chiar in acest an as putea spune. Derek Bobus de la Honey Soundsystem ne trimite direct pe terasa unui bloc din NY intr-o noapte fierbinte de vara cu acest Honeypotcast ajuns la numarul 72. As spune The Bliss rather then The Abyss. De vis!
